    Cutter head

    The cutter head breaks up compacted sand and clay so that the Bell pump can lift it. It has its own hydraulic motor, separate from the pump, and it is water jet assisted.

    • Separate hydraulic powered cutter
    • Fixed suspension on crane or ladder
    • Designed for cutting consolidated sand or clay
    • Water jet assisted

    Choose it for consolidated sand and clay. For loose sand, silt and gravel, a sand production head works better. For harder material, use the double cutter head, which can also hang free from a cable.

    Hydraulic flow the cutter head needs

    • Bell 100 and Bell 150: 15-20 L/min
    • Bell 200 and Bell 250: 35-50 L/min
    • Bell 300: 70-110 L/min
    • Bell 400: 140-210 L/min

    All Bell pump heads are interchangeable, so the same dredge pump can switch between heads.
