    Bell 100 out for rental at a steel mill

    Bell received an inquiry from an industrial waste processing company about how to effectively pump solids into a filter press.

    Waste is collected by vacuum trucks all around a steel mill and dumped into a basin created for this purpose.

    Our Bell 100 dredge pump with sand head attached to a 14-ton Bell rental excavator pumps the water-waste mixture from the basin into a filter press, from where the solid material gets dried and sorted.

    Water pressed out of the mixture in the filter press is then reused in the basin to pump solids, and so on.
