BELL 20-TON AMPHIBIOUS EXCAVATORS IN SCANDINAVIA

In the second half of 2017, Bell Dredging Pumps delivered two 20-ton amphibious excavators to a customer in Scandinavia. Both undercarriages have additional side pontoons with spud legs attached to them. One is equipped with Bell Thrusters for easy and fast maneuvering through the waterways.

The machines both have a heavy duty long reach arm, and feature the new ‘Bell Swap System’. This option enables the owner to swap between the amphibious undercarriage and the standard undercarriage in half an hour. The H-frame of the amphibious undercarraige can stay attached to the excavator, and hydraulic quick couplings make swapping an easy job.
