Large black HDPE dredge pipes with orange floats extend across a sandy coastal construction site, with a yellow mobile crane, shipping containers, and equipment in the background under a partly cloudy blue sky.

    BELL300 IN THE CARIBBEAN

BELL Dredging Equipment supplied a BELL 300 dredge pump with sand production head to a marine contracting company.

Submersible dredge pump suspended by crane over turquoise water, actively pumping and creating turbulent water flow, with connected discharge hose supported by yellow floats, near a tropical shoreline.
Submersible dredge pump being lowered by crane onto a work barge equipped with a generator, floating hoses with buoys, and dredging equipment, set against a turquoise coastal waterway.

Together with a PVE600 hydraulic power pack to drive the dredging pump and a BELL Water Jet Pump 250-300 to feed the water jet nozzles on the sand production head, this set-up is used to deepen an existing marina in the Bahamas. The dredged sand is used to create a new beach several 100 meters away.

The BELL 300 dredge pump has a maximum mixture capacity of 1800 m^3/h, and can pump up to 1500 meters with no booster required!
